Public beta server live!
We're pleased to announce the official launch of the beta version of our brand new match engine. A massive amount of works has been put into developing it the last months! A new server has been launched and is available on the server switch pagecalled "Beta". On this server, the new match engine is available for all managers.
Why is there a new match engine?
The basis for the current match engine was laid 12 years ago. After all this time and many millions of matches simulated it was time for a breath of fresh air. The new match engine is faster and is better balanced. Not to forget, every line of code has been build up from the ground again delivering better realism and the ability to add new features in the not-so-distant future!
What is new?
The most important feature is the match simulation itself which takes everything available on OFM into account such as line-up, tactics, specialists and formation. Managing the details will become even more important. Asking yourself questions like: "Is my squad balanced?", "Are my players fit enough?" and "Should I play attacking or defending to the best team in the league?" becomes very important.

Can I join?
Yes you can! If you have a (sub-)account available, go to the server switch page and pick the server called "Beta". Once you've joined, you can either create your own league or join an existing league in the same way you're used to.
