Spanish football correspondent Guillem Balague told Kick Off that it’s “just a matter of time” until Gareth Bale’s proposed multimillion pound move to Real Madrid is completed.
Bale haven’t been seen in a Tottenham shirt since their pre-season friendly against Swindon Town, with reports widely suggesting the Welsh wizard has told the club he wants to move to the Spanish giants.
Balague said that nothing has been agreed between the clubs as of yet, but insists the La Liga outfit can afford Spurs’ £100m+ valuation of the winger, and that they are willing to offer one of their players in a part-swap deal to secure Bale’s signature.
